ARMED DEFENDER
This course is for the intermediate shooter, which bridges the gap between entry level foundational handgun skills and defensive shooting. We will introduce communication steps, situational awareness, mindset, and threat identification. This is an 6-hour class.
PREREQUISITE: The student must complete our Pistol 101, Concealed Carry Pistol or provide proof of equivalent training to attend this course. It is highly recommended that you attend the concealed carry seminar prior to class.

- Sharpening your shooting fundamentals
- Understand basic communications
- Understand the concepts of searching and scanning
- Identify threats
- Understand reloading techniques
- Preform malfunction clearance procedures
- Perform moving and shooting drills
- Understanding the applications of Cover and Concealment
- Perform failure drills
Equipment:
- Eye and ear protection
- Ball cap
- Quality functional semi-automatic pistol. No micro or pocket pistols – Full size and compact pistols only.
- 3 or more magazines
- Magazine pouch
- Dominate side hip mounted holster or dominate side belt mounted holster
- Sturdy belt, enclosed shoes (No flip flops or sandals) Crew neck (T-shirt) or button up shirt (No low cut neckline) Rain gear and appropriate clothing for weather and sunscreen as needed.
